MEET LAUREN

A RECORD OF SUCCESS FOR MISSISSIPPI

Born in Tupelo, Mississippi, Lauren Smith was raised like many of us – a God-fearing, conservative individual who learned to value hard work and self-reliance from a young age. Growing up in rural Lee County, Lauren was brought up on the ideologies of Ronald Reagan and Barry Goldwater. This patriotic spirit has long inhabited her family from the veterans that have served this great country.

She has always been outspoken about holding people accountable, writing her first letter to the President in 2001 speaking out against removing “one nation under God” from the Pledge of Allegiance. Lauren believes America is still a shining city on a hill and has never backed down from a fight. Those values followed Lauren through her education as she graduated from Itawamba Community College, and earned a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science from Ole Miss. She spent the last 10 years building her career in the medical field, serving in numerous positions from a Lead Medical Technologist to Clinical Technical Consulting. With her experience, Lauren now owns her own business, Candor Technical Consulting Group. Like most of us, Lauren is very concerned with the direction of our country. Because of her concerns, she became politically active and founded P.R.I.M.E. in 2020, with the mission to defend conservative beliefs and inspire Republican officeholders to fight for our values.

Because of Lauren’s dedication to liberty and Constitutional government, she has spent numerous hours at our state Capitol defending our conservative principles and advocating for legislation that will put Mississippi first. But perhaps most importantly, Lauren is the mother to son, Cash (12), whom she is raising to not only value hard work, self-reliance, and freedom, but to love Mississippi and the United States of America as that shining city on a hill.  Lauren and her family are proud to call Saltillo, Mississippi, home.
